I found a book of surgical illustrations of an aneurysmectomy of the abdominal aorta. Gross, right? When I opened the book I just sort of peeked at it at first because I was scared there would be actual photos. But to my surprise I loved the drawings and I can't stop looking at them. They make the whole operation look a little magical to me and I've been reading a lot about biology and healing these days, so I am experimenting with the images. Playing around with putting them on feminine fabric and making the instruments gold. The result so far is sweet but also a little perverse looking.

As the size of the aneurysm increases, there is an increased risk of rupture which can result in severe hemorrhage or other complications including sudden death.
